Welcome back to my blog friends! Today I will just be talking about my day. Yesterday was my friend's last day in Ottawa, and so we spent most of our day together. While I passed out resumés, we also got to shop around and do a few other fun things.

Firstly, we went to our favourite little café, the Luna Café! They are best known for their crêpes and gelato. They haven't been around super long, so I still consider them fairly new, but this is our recent tradition, and we've been going there a lot over the past few years. I have no pictures to share of this, but I can say that I did enjoy my chai latté and "classic" crêpe (tomatoes, cheese, and basil) which my friend treated me too (thanks again if you're reading this <3 ).

Next we stopped off at Shoppers so that she could do some errands, after which we went to Tweed & Hickory. I picked up a selection of K-Cups (for the Keurig single coffee brewer). Here are a few new ones which I picked up to try.

We then stopped at the bank for more errands that needed to be done, and then went to Walmart. There we both picked up a few things. I got two things, this simple makeup kit that I really wanted to try, and this lite bright Hard Candy brightening whipped concealer.

After this we decided to get mani pedis! I actually had already painted my nails, so I just got a pedi. Either way it was a super fun experience. We went to Danny Nails on Hazeldean Road. Here's the colour I picked. It's a shiny (almost gel-like) dusty rose colour.

We stopped for lunch at Gabriel's Pizza, which was very delicious, and then headed to Sally's Beauty Supply. There I dropped off my resumé because they were looking for a full time worker. We didn't buy anything.

Lastly we went to Rexall, where I dropped off a resumé and bought this Macadamia Oil Deep Repair Mask that I've heard really good things about.

My friend then dropped me off at home, and I started to prepare that nights dinner. I already blogged about it on my health/fitness/food blog, but I used a recipe that I discovered through Essiebutton. It's the chicken quinoa caesar salad that she had in her spring trilogy video. If you are interested in it, you can check out her youtube channel. Here's a picture:

Lastly, this didn't happen yesterday, but I wanted to share with you a few things I have received in the past week. My friend that I spend the day with yesterday made me a lovely gift bag with a few things, and wrote me a sweet letter. I will definitely miss her! She's heading to Toronto for a year to do the Paralegal program. Here is what she got me:

Inside the cute Asian-style pouch: Double Bubble, gummi on a stick, pen, kleenex with cute bees, and a little notebook with a cute print! (Thank you if you are reading!)

Also, my brother bought me this list organizer pad from the dollar store! He knows I love to stay organized!

That's all for now,
