✪ My Beauty Diary Review ✪
So while I was shopping at T&T Supermarket to get some nice Asian goodies (such as my favourite milk candies), I saw the skin care aisle. And as you might think there would be other cosmetics of Asian origin, there was sadly only one Korean BB cream... and it was $50 so needless to say I did not pick it up. The sheet masks (from well known Taiwanese brand My Beauty Diary) were on sale for $12 for a pack of 10. There were a lot to choose from (two that I have actually tried before being the chocolate truffle mask and the earl gray tea and macaroon mask which were A-mazing!), but I was drawn towards this one and the aloe one (which I didn't pick up and highly regret). But let's get on to the review! The Hyaluronic Acid Mask was actually very moisturizing, and left my skin feeling really nice and smooth and clean. I even had moisturized skin the next morning, and I didn't even need to use moisturizer. Basically to use one of these masks, you take it carefully out of the packaging (since the cotton mask is wet and delicate it is easily broken), and then place it on your face plastic side out smoothing it on. Once it is on you can remove the plastic layer and shape it more to your face. You can leave it on for 20 minutes as it says, or go for more for extra moisture. It has a nice light scent, but nothing too overpowering. And just incase you were wondering, no it does not burn through your face (hyaluronic acid is actually a naturally forming molecule or fluid in our bodies and is involved in tissue repair). In summary, the sheet mask was very good and did a good job or refreshing my skin and moisturizing it where needed. My skin also felt tighter and looked brighter. I will be using it probably every two weeks or on special days where I might need a moisture boost.
Final Rating/Verdict: 8/10
